Ground Attributes

PathEngine supports the assignment of attributes to individual faces in a ground mesh, to identify things like the type of surface at a point on the ground, to group faces into 'sections' and so forth.

There is support for marking these attributes at content creating time, and then querying at run-time.

Some attributes also link in to other functionality provided by PathEngine.
(Surface types may have a traverse cost associated. Sections may be assigned 'terrain callbacks'.)

For information about setting up face attributes refer to this page.
Refer to this page for a list of supported attributes.
